As part of the Lake Superior State University community, you can now get free, legal music downloads from www.ruckus.com. Lake Superior State University has partnered with Merit Network and Ruckus, Inc. (www.ruckus.com) to provide a free LEGAL music downloading service to all students. The Ruckus music library contains over 2.1 million tracks of music!
The free basic service allows you to download music for your personal use on a Windows computer. For a fee, Ruckus offers the ability to burn to CD or transfer to mp3 player, hundreds of movie titles, many current and classic television series.
To create your free Ruckus Account:
Simply go to www.ruckus.com. Click the "Join Ruckus" button and enter in your college issued email address (your username@lssu.edu email address). You'll be downloading unlimited amounts of music in a matter of minutes!
